Directors

Carl Brooks Director

Since joining ABM Architects in 1984, Carl has established a strong reputation for delivering quality architecture across a range of large and complex projects. Carl brings a depth of experience and commitment to his role as director with ABM. He is passionate about functional, holistic design that connects with the community and the landscape. Carl ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard.

David McCabe Director

David is a director with ABM Architects with over 25 years’ experience. He works closely with the education and justice systems and has a keen understanding of the unique requirements and policies influencing these sectors. David has worked on landmark correctional design projects including the Brisbane Magistrates Court building and numerous education projects throughout Brisbane. David’s work focuses on sociocultural accessibility and ESD responses to different climatic orientations.

Peter McCabe Director

Peter was appointed as a director with ABM Architects in 1992. He has extensive experience leading the full scope of architectural services on quality design projects across the education, residential and mixed-use, commercial and industrial sectors. Peter has successfully worked with an impressive number of large, multi-disciplinary teams and tier one contractors to deliver major private D&C developments. Peter was elected Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) in 2013 and manages ABM Architects' Quality Management Processes.

Manuel Stathis Director

Manuel is a director with ABM Architects with over 20 years’ experience in the education, aged care and industrial sectors. Manuel has also been involved in a range of commercial and residential projects requiring master planning and staged development. He plays an active role in all stages of developments and is passionate about working closely with clients to deliver functional and efficiently planned projects from inception to commissioning. His work has attracted an Australian Institute of Architects regional commendation in 2009.
